Our services are tailored to the realities of the exhibit process. We recognize that early on you’ll have more questions than answers. And later in the project it’s likely that you’ll be working with fixed funding and be striving to work within that budget. To reflect these realities we offer services tailored to each stage of exhibit development.

Planning
Strategic Planning to explore your institutional mission, vision and visitor experience. We use a workshop-style format designed to foster collaboration and build consensus among staff, board and stakeholders.

Master Planning for museum exhibit environments and facilities. A successful exhibit environment requires more than square footage—it must be envisioned and integrated into every facet of your building design.

Interpretive Planning to develop themes and activities that can be developed into effective exhibit concepts. Ones that will be understandable and resonate with visitors.


Visualizing
Conceptual Exhibit Design to develop interpretive planning into individual exhibit concepts and establish their relationships to the overall installation—indoors, outdoors and, increasingly, online.

Capital Campaign Support to provide conceptual and marketing materials for your campaign team. We provide a wide range of materials to our clients, including renderings, video, multimedia, publications, and self-contained slide presentations.

Project Costing to develop exhibit budgets based on the conceptual design package. As an integrated firm we can provide our clients with fixed exhibit costs earlier in the process.

Educational Program Consulting for in-house and outreach initiatives. We provide development assistance for program planning and implementation, staff development, material content, classroom coordination, and evaluation tools.

Exhibit Architecture addresses the shaping and optimizing of public spaces and exhibit settings. We provide interior design, layout and power/lighting design for our exhibit projects, coordinating with your building architect.

Producing
Content Development for exhibit activities. We provide in-house copy writing assistance, graphic design, video development, animation and multimedia content and software programming.

Detailed Exhibit Design to develop the conceptual design for fabrication, evaluating different engineering and visitor interface issues to insure that the finished exhibits will perform effectively.

Exhibit Fabrication of components and assemblies. Each exhibit is built by an experienced team of craftsmen skilled in the special requirements of hands-on exhibits. This is also the time when we integrate graphics and media content with the exhibit hardware.

Installation and Commissioning of the completed exhibits. We train your staff in using and managing your exhibits. We even include an operating manual!

Supporting
Evaluation of your exhibits to assess their performance. Evaluations are typically based on tailored surveys and interviews with staff and visitors and include short and long term recommendations.
