Paul Haynes, AIA

Paul is an architect and nationally recognized designer specializing in museum facilities and interactive exhibit environments. As President of InterActive Group he leads the firm’s exhibit development and consulting services. Paul is a strong advocate of dynamic education settings combining visitor-friendly spaces with compelling exhibit content. He brings his broad experience as a museum architect and exhibit designer to the unique needs of museums in reaching and serving their audiences with hands-on learning.

Prior to founding InterActive Group, Paul headed Haynes + Associates Architects, specializing in services for museum, visitor and cultural facilities. His architectural work encompasses numerous museum projects, including the renovations of the National Gallery of Art in Washington, DC and the Historic New Orleans Collection.

A frequent presenter at museum conferences, Paul focuses on informing museum professionals about strategies for hands-on learning initiatives. He is certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB) and is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA).


Jules Babineaux, PE

Jules heads exhibit engineering and fabrication for InterActive Group through Exhibits, Etc. He is a recognized engineer and fabricator of interactive exhibits for museums and visitor facilities all over the United States. His experience in the design and production of high quality interactive exhibits spans three decades and encompasses a wide range of science centers, nature education centers, children’s museums and interpretive sites.


Michael Strohm

Michael is an award winning interpretive designer and fabricator with 30 years of experience in providing innovative exhibits for nature centers and museums across the nation. As head of Michael Strohm Design he has channeled his schooling in Forestry, Architecture, and Fine Art into a lifelong passion for showcasing our North American freshwater eco-systems.

Mike has observed that each stream has its own visual and biological signature which requires careful "Artistic Engineering" for successful duplication within an architectural environment. His hands-on attention to detail and his diverse project support network yield Living Stream exhibits that delight visitors with quality, performance, and reliability.

 

Elliott Sigman

As Exhibit Designer and Project Coordinator, Elliott leads the design and development of exhibit shells and is responsible for fabrication documents. He combines his skills in digital modeling with a strong desire to create visitor-friendly experiences. Elliott strives to create effective educational environments that engage visitors and further learning. His eye for good design and attention to detail ensure a high quality experience for visitors. Elliott is a graduate of the Knowlton School of Architecture at the Ohio State University. 

 

Elise Schellin

As an Exhibit Designer at InterActive Group, Elise leads the development of graphics and multimedia presentations/displays. She uses her skills to help create educational, interactive exhibits that strive to get all visitors excited about learning. Elise is invested in combining her design and communication talents to turn content into compelling stories that appeal to visitors in a new way. Elise is a graduate of the Knowlton School of Architecture at the Ohio State University.
